About this coffee
We're delighted to bring this coffee to Be Bright as one of our first Legacy coffees. Legacy coffees are coffees that we intend to bring in year after year, in hopes to help foster a deep and fruitful relationship for both sides. The folks at Accresco S.A.S are not just importers, but growers and are family owned, operating 7 farms with over 2 million coffee producing trees, and an expertise that spans over 5 generations.
Helmed by Daniela Maya Fernandez, the growers at Accresco put forth a lot of effort to show full transparency of their coffee production, overseeing and controlling all twenty six steps from seed development to harvest, exportation and importation. With over 840 acres of coffee tucked away in the municipality of Salgar, Daniela and the growers at Accresco pour a lot of their focus in sustainable farming and fermentation practices.
Their efforts are realized with this offering, the Heriberto, named after the grandfather of the Maya family. When developing this coffee, we wanted to present this coffee with a dark roast to highlight its intrinsic notes of Hazelnut and Dark Chocolate. This coffee will serve as a great base for adding milk or cream or a little bit of sugar to highlight its sweetness. Or enjoy just as it is!
