Hi, we're Frank and Michelle. Welcome to Be Bright Coffee! We launched in 2020 with the hopes of making it easy for the average coffee drinker to access amazing, locally roasted coffee.

Our story has been filled with both tumultuous and bright moments. Read on for more!

We started entering nationwide competitions in 2021, which culminated in Frank's win in the 2024 US Barista Championship. We are so fortunate to have an amazing team, an amazing support system, and the best coffee producers!

We roast our beans every Tuesday in Los Angeles. We try to make the experience of getting fresh, delicious coffee as painless as possible! All subscription orders ship for free, or if you purchase over $40.

Before we had a following, before the awards, back when we were a fledgling company with an uncertain future, we were offered the opportunity to have a weekly pop-up at Smorgasburg in Los Angeles. We showed up every Sunday for 3.5 years and met many wonderful vendors and customers. We are grateful for this part of our history and for the people who waited in long lines for their Be Bright fix!

Finally a place we could call home, we opened our first brick and mortar cafe on Melrose in 2022.
